What the partnership is holding in mind, and what it isn't.
The cognitive load map names the recurring decisions the partnership tracks personally, and the decisions it has structurally delegated.
This sheet is forthcoming. It will be delivered with the six-month revision of the Blueprint, after the firm has lived with the recommendations in §§ 04–06 for one full quarter.
The cognitive load map is the most expensive sheet to produce well — it requires sitting with each partner for several hours and mapping not what they should be deciding, but what they are deciding. Done correctly, it surfaces the structural friction the partnership has been absorbing as personal effort. Done poorly, it produces an org chart with feelings attached.
